Say hello to Dr. Elise Evans and Dr. Kendall Allen.

Meet Your Dentists

Dr. Elise Evans

Dr. Elise was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and then the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. In 2007, she and her husband, Dr. John Masengill, D.D.S., graduated from dental school and moved to East Tennessee. They bought a dental practice in Seymour, TN and practiced together for two years. During that time, Dr. Elise's passion for treating children was realized, and she decided to go back to school to further her education. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for her specialty training in pediatric dentistry. While at UAB, she also received extensive training in treating special needs patients.

Dr. Elise lives in the Bearden area with her husband and three children, Davis, Cate and Caroline. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading and UT football! As a mother and the first female pediatric dentist in Knoxville, Dr. Elise will treat your children with gentle care as if they were her own.

Dr. Kendall Allen

Dr. Kendall was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. Following graduation from the University of Tennessee, she attended dental school at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Upon finishing dental school, she worked at the UT College of Dentistry as an instructor.

Dr. Kendall and her husband, Dr. Tyler R. Allen, are thrilled to be back in Knoxville! They love being outside in God's creation—hiking, running, and being near water. She also enjoys cooking, crafts, playing with their puppy, and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband attend Fellowship Church on Middlebrook. Dr. Kendall is excited to join Dr. Elise in serving the Knoxville community.

Dr. Sarah Hamil

Dr. Sarah was born and raised here in Knoxville, TN. She’s a graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. After graduation from UT, she attended dental school at The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis.

Dr. Sarah and her husband Tanner are excited to have just moved back to Knoxville! They live in Bearden with their feisty miniature dachshund, Wilson. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys DIY home design, entertaining friends, spending time with their families, and cheering on the Vols! She and her husband are new members of Sacred Heart Cathedral parish. Dr. Sarah is thrilled to be a new member of the Bearden Pediatric Dentistry team, and she’s excited to meet and care for your children!

We love it here...friendly staff...reception area is always clean and organized. My kids always want to play with the toys and the wait is not too long. I would definitely recommend to anybody. Thank you and I appreciate for all you do for my kids!
